But first, let’s make a little more clear why you definitely need to strengthen your self-confidence!

How does a lack of self-confidence look like?

A lack of self-confidence comes as a limitation, an active block in your brain. When something does not work out, your reaction is something like “It is all my fault.” or “I have done something wrong.”

When you think of something you’d like to try, your own mind gets in your way by telling you “I can’t do this.” You feel like are never good enough. This is also called self-sabotage, an it will hold you back forever if you don’t do anything against it.

All those thoughts are anything but true, and nevertheless, you believe them.

A lack of self-confidence also called “self-doubts” tells you that you are always wrong. So to nip these self-doubts in the bud, you must learn that you are not wrong. But to do this, we first need to understand what “being wrong” actually means.

What does “being wrong” mean?

Oxford dictionary defines “wrong” as “not correct or true, incorrect” But what defines what is wrong and what’s right? Let’s dive a little deeper to find out where our conception of “wrong” comes from.

Life itself does not define the term “wrong”. Mankind does. Mankind invented the concept of something being “wrong” or “right” to make itself work.

So whether something is wrong or right is defined by our own rules. It is an outside opinion, outside of our state of simple being. Without all the need to make something work, to complete any task, we all just are

Of course, you can’t only live in this primary layer of life, and we need to function in this world with the values and principles that it teaches us and wants us to work with.

The birth of “wrong” in our lives

We grow up under the care of our parents, and once we are supposed to go out into the world and “find our way”, we start feeling pressure. The pressure of fulfilling expectations, the stress of not knowing, the stress of not wanting to fail. It all forms into the fear of failure.

This expresses as fear of doing things in a way that brings us to fail, ergo a way that is “wrong”. We are afraid of making mistakes.

Do you realize that this way of living is predetermined to make you doubt yourself? So don’t blame yourself if you struggle with self-doubts, because it is nothing less and nothing more than a natural consequence.

But there is a solution.

You can rise above the system by changing your point of view. You can decide not to let it control you by realizing that every wrong is right. Yes, you read that right.

Every “wrong” is right.

And here are some reasons for it.

  • every “wrong” is an action
  • every “wrong” is a part of you
  • every “wrong” is one experience more
  • every “wrong” leads to a second try
  • every “wrong” is one step closer to your goal
  • every “wrong” is part of a process
  • every “wrong” brings you nearer to your purpose

I could go on for hours. But let’s take a look at the outcome: a part of you, action, experience, second try, goal, process, purpose, possibility, …

In this way, you cannot be wrong in the end. You make mistakes, but the mistake is right, and it is good that it happened. So “being wrong” does simply not exist. It is impossible.

So, what do we conclude?

Your self-doubts are innecessary. Not wrong, but not necessary. The only thing they are doing is holding you back. And still, it is okay and good that they exist, because they brought you here.

So to bring this back to you as an individual, we have proven that you are never wrong. The way that you are, your personality, your actions, just you are just right.

Finally, the number one way to skyrocket your self-confidence is:

I am just fine the way I am.

Read it again.

Isn’t it refreshing? Relieving?

Repeat the phrase in your head and take a deep breath.

Doesn’t it calm you down? Doesn’t it give you a feeling of security?

If you believe my words, then here’s my task for you. I challenge you to repeat to yourself the following phrases first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening, plus once or twice during the day, at least 10 repetitions each time, and this over the period of time of at least 3 months.

I am right just the way I am and where I am, and I am realizing myself.

Set yourself a reminder on your phone. Stick to it and feel the difference. I assure you that your self-confidence will rise on end.
